Brand X Metals, Inc. has created a new line of plaster channel screeds which gives the same finish look of the standard PCS channel reveals with a shorter nail flange. The Short Flange Plaster Reveal gives you several important advantages:
- Less raw material results in lower cost and more savings – about $200 less per 1,000 L.F.
- When installed over the lath in a horizontal application true ‘full embedment’ is possible and moisture is allowed to gravitate to the bottom of the wall without obstruction.
- When working with the inconsistencies of wood framing, the Streamline Trims’ “over the lath” method of installation allows the installer to have more control while setting the depth which results in a much more consistent plaster thickness, less material costs and a more professional looking final product.
- Less nailing flange removes the possibility of installers securing lath to the non-structural trim which in turn reduces the possibility of cracking at the edge of the trim.
Streamline Channel Screed OPTIONS:
Intersections – 3-way and 4-way intersections as well as inside and outside corners are available.
Venting – All channel screeds from ½” width to 4″ are available with venting.
Radius – Channel screeds can be bent to meet your required specifications (Radius Order Form).
