The Brand X Metals ‘X’ mold is designed for use at the corner of two plaster walls. Our ‘X’ Reveal has an advantage over other brands by having a longer nailing flange (1-1/4″) vs. the standard 7/8″ flange. Typical construction with 5/8″ sheathing over exterior framing creates a condition where a 7/8″ nail flange is not long enough to ensure good attachment to corner framing.
