DESCRIPTION:
Our Fiber Cement Panel 2 piece Vertical Trims are designed to provide a clean, finished transition between 3/8″ fiber cement panels and 3/8″ lap siding or other 3/4″ siding materials. The CPPV-B 375-75 trim has 3/8″ flanges that conceal field cut edges of the siding materials, giving your installation a professional, finished look. These trims are suitable for use in vertical applications only and must be secured with adhesive, screws, or pop rivets due to the natural expansion and contraction of aluminum.
In addition to their functional benefits, these trims are also highly versatile in terms of material compatibility and finishing options. They are compatible with all major brands of 5/16 inch fiber cement panel siding and can be used with both wood and steel stud framing. You can choose from a clear anodized finish or Chem Film for field painting, or opt for custom finishing with Kynar paint to meet your specific project needs.
One unique feature of these trims is that the base part can be applied first, with the cover cap installed at a later time. This may be more convenient in tight fit situations than using the standard vertical reveal. However, it is important to remember that all two piece caps must be secured for the best performance and appearance.
